well long story short, i have stumbled on a set of 33x12.5r15 inch all terrains with decent tread. i believe there Dunlop in brand, but the problem is, if i put the tires next to my tires that are on my jeep now(235/75/r15) the tires pretty much come up to the top of my fender flare. i have always wanted to get a lift kit for my jeep, and now i have a proper excuse. now my question is, what else do i need to replace or keep an eye out for problems wise? my spedometer says im going 4 miles faster than what its reading, and im not sure how much that will change, but other than that, i have no idea what else to watch for.

Never done it myself, but from what I've read, anything over about 3 1/2" of lift *can* cause grief. Works with 31" tires and maybe 32's, if you start trimming the sheet metal in your fender wells.
Having to deal with the aftermath of anything over 4" of lift and more then 32" tires, has never seemed like it would be worth it to me.
The look just isn't that important to me, if I can't make it with 31's, I drive around or go another direction.
Speedo error can be the least fo your worries, wait until stuff starts breaking or your front suspension angles get so out of whack you may never get it right again

what ever you decide to do stay away from lift blocks in rear

look into either 3 1/2 shakles or different springs for the rear and f150 coils upfront should yeild you a 3 inch lift may still need to do a little triming on fenders and rear wells but if done right looks ok if its a trail rig

and another thought 33s are almost exactly same size as a 32 depending on brand and 32s measure 28 inches if I remember right

alrighty than. 33's are probably not what i need for my rig than. if i was to get some 31's, how exactly would i trim my fender walls? and would i have to trim the front and back or just the front?
