89 XJ motor swap

I've been looking into some motor swaps and was curious to what are the most reasonable to install time other than the LS1 and small block 350's. I was also considering maybe a 4bt, cause i figured 6bt is too big and wouldn't fit? diesel is most fuel efficient and most torque output what do you guys recommend? wanted to get some opinions before i go all the way in with this project.

I do a lot of offroad krawling so i would have gone with the 4BT instead of the 4.7 stroker that i finally went with if i had found one at a reasonable price. Low end torque was what i was going for.

I did a 4 bt in a 99 xj. 6 months badazz! Loved it. But broke the xj's back. Scrapped project since I didn't want to spend $3000 at a welding shop for repair and reinforcement.
Ended up with 2 xjs here. 92 with 4.8 stroker, 89 with Mercedes diesel and, 90 mj with the 4 bt. The stroker is the best off roading here in Florida. The Mercedes is awesome dual purpose. The Comanche is a beast.
