90 Cherokee Overhead console - computer display

My 90 Cherokee has the very nice overhead console with the compass/temp reading. On the right hand side is a button that lets you choose US or metric and that changes the temp from F to C. It also has a button on the left side of the display that seems to indicate you can switch to computer functions but the display just goes blank when that is pressed?

Is there something wrong or does my Jeep just not have the trip computer functions?[addsig]

hmm... i think you found the wrong forum, but that's okay. someone should be able to move it.



my '90 XJ ltd has the same console... the button on the right (us/metric) switches between celcius and farenheit. the button on the left (comp/temp) turns it on and off.



that left button... comp/temp = compass/temperature

Yes, I thought I was in the Cherokee Forum but I wasn't - sorry! Anway so it is just an on/off switch basically? The comp does not stand for computer?
