Air Bag Light On

well after i installed my console this weekend i had to unhook the air bag switch to turn off or on the pass air bag, well i reconnected it everything was good ...well i start her up and the air bag light comes on along with the other lights for a sec , then it goes off for a split second then comes back on with a beep ?? ... i disconnected the battery for an hour hoping to reset the comp same thing .. pulled the air bag fuses and checked them nothing , even unplugged and plugged the air bag switch back and i still get the light ... anybody have any ideas on this ?? i'm driving the loaner today cause i didnt want to go to far with the air bags acting up .. thanks in advance

You may just need to have error codes cleared. Know anyone with a scanner?

yeah i will swing by advanced ... but what got me is usually disconnecting the battery for a period of time clears the codes or atleast for GM's it does ... is it something diff for jeeps ??
