IF it has a conical filter it is a large improvement over stock. Often the cheap ones are just as good as the high dollar, except they may not include a mud shield.

hey just loose the whole air filter assembly entirely! youll get tons more flow and cold air into your engine...
heh im just messing with you. i bought one that i really like. i was always going through air filters untill i got this one from advance auto. it uses fine metal mesh screens instead of paper to filter the air and it cleans a lot better and quicker than the regular aftermarket bolt on filters. i just take my air hose and an air nozzle and blow it out.
