Easy or hard however you look ar it.

Would you Prefer Leather for $600 in your new JK of Cloth seat for no additional $$.

I am a top down guy so I do get caught in the rain occasionally.

I prefer leather, my ass is pretty privledged and only leather can do.

but in rain with a jeep.. I would get cloth and put a seat cover on it that will keep the seats dry. not super familar with jk seats, but closth generaly will absorb liquid and retain it. My YJ had canvas seats, and it still sucked when they were wet.

I have vehicles with both.

For top down wheeling, I prefer cloth just because I wheel a lot in the desert. Leather gets hot in teh summer and cold in the winter. It also can split at the seams if not maintained well.

On the flip side, it looks nice and cleans up easy.

I've got cloth with Wet Okole seat covers. That's the way I'd go.

Never been a fan of Leather - I tend to slip around too much.

this would be your behind on leather on a really hot day :cookout:

Looks like Cloth takes the award. I was really riding the fence but you guys pushed me off. I remember my ass getting 3rd degree burns on the Old Vinyl truck seats. I was upgrading to Okole either way.

never had a problem with leather being hot that it could burn skin.... but I usually wear pants when I drive.
