Automatic Hubs?

I once had a 69 Commando with automatic lock-in hubs. You could manually lock them in or put them in auto and they'd lock in by them selves when the transfer case was shifted into 4 wheel drive. These were extremely nice to have & I'd like to purchase some for my CJ but I've not seen these offered for sale anywhere.

Anybody know where to get these at or are they discontinued for some reason ?

Scout IIs. I generally would never recommend an auto hub.....except these. I have seen some serious power sent to a set of 35" tires through a set of those hubs. Check with an International Harvester parts supplier. The ones I have seen in action were on a Jeep, but they were on a swapped in D44 out of a 78 Scout II. The Scout version D30 and D44 both use the same stub shafts as the CJ D30 and they have a six bolt mount, so they should work on a CJ axle.
