My CJ has developed a incredible vibration in the front end. This week I will be pulling the diff cover to see if any thing is loose. I have a power trac locker in there. It only happens when I hit a bump. When I bring the jeep to a stop and start again, the vibration stops until the next bump.

I've seen it before with loose steering. Have somebody turn the steering wheel while you watch the steering linkage. Also watch the steering box on the frame to see if it moves.
