Bent flange on 8.8???

I'm installing a 8.8 into my jeep jy and noticed when I WAS PUTTING MY ROTORS BACK ON THAT the flange rotated unevenly when I turned it. My question is if you can see that is out is it too much, should I replace the axle. I dont think it is the tubes because I put the axle shaft on a table with a square and there are different spaces as I rotated it

How long did it take? And if you don't mind me asking how much $?

If the runout on the axle flange is visible with the naked eye, i would replace that particular axle shaft. When in doubt, use a dial caliper on the outer surface of the flange, with the axle pushed all the way in the tube, then carefully turn the axle without pulling and measure the runout to verify for a bent axle shaft. You can do the same test on the rotors as well to check it for warp.

8.8 from a junkyard? Maybe it was hit on that wheel, causing it to bend.

Junkyard stuff can sometimes have hidden damage from a wreck or other reasons.
