I'm finishing up a frame off restoration on my 94 YJ and need to replace the brake lines from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve. Do the lines need to be coiled like the factory ones or can I just run lines with the bends needed to connect the MC & P.V.
Thanks
Larry
From the master to the prop valve, the lines are not coiled. From the prop valve to the body, they should be coiled. The coil is to allow for slight fluctuations and movement between the frame and the body.
They don't need to be coiled, But you do need to have some way for them to flex between the MC and where they are hooked to the frame. Wether it's between the MC and prop valve or the prop valve and the frame.
