Car problems

Hi guys,
I had a basic car question, it’s not about jeeps but I figured you guys could probably help. My moms Tiburon is making an odd popping noise when I turn it on, and when I put it in reverse. A couple times it has made the noise when I push the clutch down. My dad and I think it might be the clutch or the exhaust lines are lose and are making the noise. Do u guys have any ideas of what else it might be, or any suggestions?

:lol: :lol: but a "pop" when you start the car and when you let off the clutch in reverse sounds odd and hard to slim down ... run it up on some ramps have somebody slip under and listen to narrow down where the sound is coming from ... it is FWD so you might wanna have your CV joints checked i have a 96 olds auto transmission but if you nail the throttle it will pop cause the joints are worn ... odd that a newer car would have that problem unless someone get throttle happy and does burnouts haha hope this helps some

It's probly not the exhaust, can't tell much else from the description.
Clutch cables can pop and snap and make funny sounds right before they break.
