Hello, I own a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the manual climate controls. Since I’ve owned the vehicle only the two middle fan speeds functioned, high and low were inoperable. Recently the fan has stopped functioning in all settings. I have checked all fuses and relays, none needed replacing. I was advised to replace the blower motor and blower motor resistor. I have replaced both with new parts and there has been no change. I can only assume the climate control switch is not functioning. What would you suggest? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Jeeps have been having HVAC issues for years. It stems from the design sending full power through the switches, conrtolls and sizing things accordingly.
Yes the resistors go bad but the high speed setting is s big short. Should never fail. From there i would check for melted wires and connectors. Even the switch has melted. Then the motor snd grounds.
