I plan on replacing the clutch this weekend with a LUK clutch kit with slave...are the any recommendations, tips, or advice...I have not done a clutch replacement in about 10 years. Your help is greatly appreciated, I only want to do this once and have it done right the first time. New flywheel or have the one turned?[addsig]

I´ve turned the flywheel, with fairly minor scoring, with no problem. But I did rough it up some with 100 grit sandpaper, against the grain. It was a little to smooth, I was afraid of chatter and wearing in problems. A pilot shaft (clutch alignment tool) is just about a must, unless you do alot of clutches. And a good look at the pilot shaft bearing, might save trouble later. Some throw out bearing get grease, some don´t, be sure before installation. New bolts for the flywheel are recommended, but if you use the old ones (or new ones) be sure and use Locktight and a torque wrench. On occasion, but rarley, I´ve had flywheel bolts back out, over time.[addsig]

Good choice on the LUK brand. Just have your stock flywheel turned down. I got the flywheel torque specs from autozone, I think it was 50 ft.lbs. the first time around, the 60* additional turn the next time around the circle.[addsig]
