I recently purchased a 1988 wrangler, the previouse owner told me the jeep was modified from throttle body intake to carburator and from electronic ignition to old distributor with points and condenser.
thats all the info i got. the parts stores don't know what to look up. any suggestions?

Maybe post some pictures? There's some pretty great people on here that could probably name just about anything.
