coolant diagram

I am missing coolant bottle and more.....basically i have the 2 heater hoses spliced together right by the thermostat no bottle and no hoses to the heater core...can anyone give me some pics and describe what I may be missing?:roll:

This is on my 1989 Cherokee 4x4 4.0...

The coolant bottle on my CJ is on the driver side fender cowl facing the firewall. The heater hoses are usually routed from the bypass outlet and waterpump if the heater core is leaking. You might want to verify that. There's no flow direction required on a heater core so as long as the coolant flows through it. On a CJ, the heater core fittings should be on the passenger side firewall next to the battery.

cherokee coolent bottle is on right side fire wall
or just do what I did 91 chevy S-10 radiator and eliminate it all together than just run the 2 lines spliced together to heater core so long as it dont have a hole in it
