i have vacuum to the cruise control box and the linkage works freely at the accelerator. when i hold accelerate on the wiper stalk, the jeep accelerates fine. when i let go or hit hold, to set the cruise, it doesn't hold in position.
anyone got any ideas? is the vacuum on this supposed to be fro any certain source? i have it run off the small nipple next to the large hose for the brake booster. it worked when i got the jeep but after i tried "fixing" the vacuum lines, it quite. then i really did fix the vacuum lines but i cannot find a diagram for the cruise.
