How far will you travel to go wheeling?

I've found a Dana 44 front with the driver side drop, wondering if this would work on my TJ. Another guy told me it would, but that i'd have to make brackets for the coils because the 44 had leaf springs. It's coming out of a 80 Cherokee, gears are unknown. What do yall think?

It sounds logical but make sure the pumpkin is on the right side though....:)

as long as you can make it stay under there, it will work... mount the springs, make sure the brakes fit, and get the steering lined up, and you'll be on your way

Width will be close, but you'll be going to a 6-lug axle. Best to find a D44 rear out of a similar SJ and switch both at the same time.

The D35 rear is the achilles heal when offroad, more so than the D30 front. Make sure you fix priorities first.
