RE: broken tap
Hi,
87 YJ ( still having elec. issues, but I think I found it...) While I am in wire tracing mode I thought Id ask....
I have been driving for over 2 years without any vacuum hoses (except timing adv, brakes) or vacuum solinoids, map sensors, hg sensors O2, cat pipes, pulse air.... I have a weber, I did the nutter bypass a long time ago, have Ford TFI ignition, THe only wires in my egine area really are the choke wire, manifold htr, $wd light, ignition stuff, etc. I have traced everything I could to the computer, they hang under my dash. But I have not pulled the plug on it. Im worried I might need it if for anything - to maintain a few closed ciruits for guages or starting. Id like to pull it out and toss it. It never did anything before the bypass with the old BBD anyway. I dont have emissions sniffers here for my year of make, its all just inspecuin, I pass every year so Im not worried about that.
So, Knowing this, can I yank out that piece or what?!
