door and hard top repair

ok,i found a 83 hard top cj7 for $5500.hard top ,full doors lift kit wheels,rebuilt motor...............
the top apears to have some damage,nothing big but are they repairable??
also the doors are rusted through in some spot aboput dime sized around the window
i dont plan on using the top un less it getts really cold(doesnt happen much in tx).
just wanted to know if their repairable,or if its even worth messing with

What do you mean by damage?:-| Most Jeep tops are made of a material called MXR. If your damage is a crack or chipped pieces, you can find MXR repair kits at a good hardware store.

mostly cracks, a few small chipped pieces though

could always do the easy fix all way. JB weld, works great for small body work hell have used on metal gas tanks and a cracked radiator, even on a stripped out bolt hole, just mixed it put it in then let it cure. for the bolt hole i drilled and retapped it. but thats that is just one of many ways to do it. for the rust spot though u will want to clean out all the rust till it is metal again or it will rust up again. use wire brush/sand paper to get all the rust gone.
