Are the guards on the doors of a XJ stuck on or are they held on with something else? I would like to remove them but I don;t want to mess anything up.
If you are talking about the trim it is held with little clips. If you take the trim off you will break one or two. Then you gotta fill the holes. I'd just leave it.
