This trail probably doesn't open for a few months, but I'm going to start asking now if anyone is interested in getting a big group together to run it. It's pretty hard in some places from what I've heard and it's about 20 some odd miles I think. You'll need at least 3 days to complete it I think.

I might be in. I hear this is harder and alot like rubicon. Sounds fun. Let me know what dates and I will see what I am doing.

RE: How do I take the doors off?

I don't think it opens until late in the year, but I'll find out and start making some plans. Anyone is welcome to camp in my backyard the night before we leave too. I'd like to get atleast 5 vehicles. Those with winches (not wenches) are welcome, although wenches are most certainly welcome.

RE: Re: 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited For Sale

Trail is closer to 40 miles long, supposedly duoble the length of the Rubicon. Also is harder in one direction then the other, not sure which is which :D

Haven't done it yet myself but a buddy of mine said he thought it wouldn't be til late august or early september before it opens  Don't know if I am gonna be able to keep moving my dates around to make these runs work out.

Good luck on your run!!

RE: combat advice

I talked to a friend who did half of it a few years ago and he recommends against me doing it in my Jeep. He drives a Toyota....I told him "thanks for the advice". Actually, he knows how to wheel very well and I trust his judgement. I would still like to get a big run together. Perhaps we could all hook up for the Swamp Lake run? It's about 15 miles and I have done this one with my Jeep. I believe you could do it with anything that has a lift and 33"s. I saw people in there with no lift and 31's, but they were really beat up.
