Engine stall

1979 cj7 258ci 2100 motorcraft carb stalling on right turns while driving, left turns ok, idle set @ 1000rpms. Starts right up after stall. Perhaps electrical grounding during turn?

Besides the ground make sure all battery connections are polished clean and the battery is strapped in properly. Even get the battery load tested.


Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts does.

Thanks for the help JPNinPA, will check that out tomorrow. I connected a multimeter to the + of the coil drove the jeep and the meter read 12.5-13.5v depending on speed and had 12volts on coil when stalled turning right. Started right up after stall. Am not giving up, after returning home let it idle while I wiggled wiring but no stall.
