Hey all,
Quick question. I've got a 95 Grand Cherokee that's producing a wobble when overdrive is turned off (so I'm thinking transmission) and starting to smoke badly (hence thinking engine).
It's got over 205k miles on it and has been limping along with a RMS leak. I'm considering going to the local Pull-A-Part and yanking a 6-cyl and transmission from the 94 Grand Cherokees they have there.
My question is, how simple of a swap would these be? Is it just a disconnect/remove/install/reconnect? Or am I going to have to go through an reconfigure things?
Note: My Grand Cherokee has the 4.0L I-6 in it. It'd be swapping for the exact same engine and transmission. So hoping it'd just be an easy thing.
Thanks in advance.
