Exhaust manifold

Will a 4.0 exhaust manifold fit on my 258 88 yj head? I have an aftermarket intake on it with a motorcraft carb. It's a Clifford intake. If it won't fit .. Why?

I don’t know the answer on this one but I would call Clifford and have them compare numbers. The 258 & 4.0 though similar actually are different animals.

I put a 4.0L Exhaust manifold on my 4.2L

how do i tell which exhaust i have on mine? does someone have a pic of theirs from the bottom? mines got some weird skinny tube that runs across the bottom of the motor and then goes back up to some type of valve and then down to the cat area. i think its an emissions related part but it rusted completely through so i just cut and bent the end over for now. so much quieter.

I actually got a new stock manifold for $63 shipped on eBay. It's a lil Beefier too! Cheap and better. Im not complaining
