Fourm-wide trip?

You mean like a Jeepz.com meet and greet at either a centrally placed Trail, or at Moab?
:yeah-that::agree::yeah-that::givemebeer::agree::cookout::party::beer:
That would be awesome!!! A jeep parade down to that trail where it will meet up with other Jeepz members that didn't live near where the parade was going followed by a long weekend of actually hanging out with the people on jeepz instead of just typing to one another.

I Vote :D:D:D:D:D Five big grins!!!

Would be nice, but geographically would be extremely hard. You mentioned Moab.Well living on the east coast that would be very hard trip for me,let alone the people that live over seas.

Well overseas it would not be possible, kinda a boohoo moment. over the seas they may be able to have their own at their own locally based trails.

A hate what i am about to say but what if we all met in Kansas? Or upper Texas or another location this is somewhat centralized in the States. That way while it will be a drive for more people, it will be less of a distance. Or we could have a whole bunch of little groups all over the states. It would be way less fun because we wouldn't necessarily meet each other, but more people could make it to their own local Jeepz trip.

I will never let this die, I wanna do it!

the jeep JK fourm site does it almost every year. I dont see why we can't. they even make movies and show the would, im kind of jealous that they are doing it and we aren't.

No idea. Prob just plan to meet at a place for a weekend near a trail. Recently they did that at Moab.

I would go if it is with in reason to my location.Moab or Texas is way too far for me.Doing the math quickly it would cost me close to $500 in gas one way to get to Moab.Let alone food and hotels since it is a 37 hour drive. My funds can not support something like that.Texas would be a little closer but still not in my budget. To do different locations every year would help for every one to attend at some point, but most from the far east would not meet the west.

south south texas. you might as well put me in the mexico crowd

No we'll just find a time when everyone can go. Also I think we need some input from Terry mason since he's the admin.

OK, sounds like a plan is forming but we still have the problem of where? Maybe Terry knows what jeep forum does.

If they do a one trail kinda thing I think its because they are a lot bigger of a group, and even if not too many of them could make it, it was still a pretty big party. Being a less known and much smaller group we will have to figure something else out.

with the price of gas, and the economy, arent your dreams a little unrealistic.

When there's a will there's a way

And the gas prices can't raise forever. Its more likely that when all of the crap in the middle east blows over gas prices will drop. And if things continue, the revolution will take some time, and then the new government will take some time so Libya won't be pumping us any oil anytime soon. America will either start heavily pumping our own reserves, or Americans will start looking at different resources.

Its always a good idea to plan ahead, and i think a forum-wide trip may be a reality sooner than many people think.

I suggested that already!!

Don't be stealing my ideas!!!

I had said Kansas but its still quite the drive for most people, and I don't know of to many great trails there. I haven't done too much looking but still. I suggest some part of Kansas, or maybe if its worth the trip for enough people Colorado.

We may have to refer to them map and see where the majority of jeepz readers are located, then try to compromise.
