Hey guys! I have a 2004 Jeep wrangler I6 with the dana 44 rear adn 30 front. I have a 2 inch rough country suspension lift on it and ever since the lift was installed i have had this clunking noise coming from the front end. I can feel the clunking with my right foot. It sounds like the 4wd lever is banging against the floor board but thats not it. when i crawl underneath the jeep the 4wd lever isnt loose and either is the drive shaft. I cant seem to figures it out. everything seem snug underneath. if anyone has ANY ideas it would be great! thanks guys! could it possibly be bad u joints on the front drive shaft? It seems like the noise isnt there when its in 4wd.

Does it only make the noise when your driving? . A 2 inch lift is enough to offset the 4wd shifter bellcrank from the body. Check that and see If it's properly aligned.
