gas tank skid

Hey anyone replace a gas tank skid recently?
Mine is junk... I have a couple choices:
Fix mine by cutting out the rust and weld in a new peice (it's stock)
Go with a Kilby and drop 300 bucks (wife doesn't like that option)
Find another stock one for sale... I actually found a guy selling the tank and skid together on craigslist for 100 bucks.

I am a little weary since he said they were off a "90 wrangler TJ". I don't want to drive out there and find something that won't fit my 91.

Does anyone know if the 90 and 91 have the same tank set up? 91 was the first year with fuel injection, the fuel pump is inside the tank... not sure about the 1990 though. Anyone?

Well I have looked multiple places, they seem to contradict each other... I figured I'd see if anyone knew personally.

I asked the guy on craigslist for some pics... seems to be the right one.

Just make sure you put the piece of foam between the bottom of the tank and the skid plate back in or you will be fixing holes in the tank caused by rocks that get stuck in-between the two.
