Engine won't turn off

I am having alot of trouble wiith water. It seems like everytime my 1995 wrangler see's water it begins to sput and putter. I am running a K&N air intake with a bored throttle body and spacer. Also, I have an eletric fan. I was wondering if anyone else using that air intake system has had trouble with water. it could also be that my fan is blowing in water. But I have troulble with water as shallow as 3 feet. let me know what you guys think.

3 feet is pretty substantial by some measures, are you hitting it fast enough to cause water to come over the top? maybe its shorting out an injector or messing with your ignition coil or distributor, make sure all of these have no open connections where water could cause discrpencies.

I run an open conical K&N filter, and an electric fan, and no problems. If yours is really succeptable to any moisture chances are the distributor cap is cracked.

And 3ft is a pretty good amount of water to be in for very long.
