That YJ hardtop should fit the CJ. Is there something different about that YJ top?

The biggest difference between The CJ and YJ tops is that the lip that comes down over the tail gate is on the inside on a YJ and on the outside on a CJ. Other than that they will interchange.

That's the issue with this top. The rear is one piece of glass the cj top has a rear hatch frame surrounding the glass that is the one I want. This top was on the jeep when I got it but I would like to have the original top. Thanks for posting.

Bought hard top for cj7 in great shape. All it needs is paint and that's what I do. Happy to have found one close by.
