Hardtop windows

Does anyone know of a manufacturer/ parts dealer who makes sliding windows for the side of the hardtop itself? I have a '91 YJ, and have looked for this online, but the only thing I have seen is of sliding windows for the doors.

Don't know how hard of a modification it would be, but asking a question like that here seems to make a lot of sense.

i have never heard of it but thats a hell of a good idea. like old van windows on the big e150 fords. it would sure help with ventilation for the back seat people

i always thought a way of opening the back window would be good too but then you have the exhaust circulating back through on deceleration

Apparently, Scramblers & LJs are the only ones that HT slider windows have been produced... www.hardtopdepot.com
Seems that since we can replace the glass... Should be able to have a track installed.. Guess it's just a matter of determining the best configuration of slide that works with the window shape...

Read a forum post somewhere about the concept of a pop-out window ... Kind of like a vent window function , I guess.

The slider concept is a good one... (I had a 1985 K5 Blazer with them)
Good Luck! Keep us posted if you find some!
