Heater blower motor replacement.

96 Grand 6 cylinder. Heater fan blower motor runs intermittently. Sometimes comes on right away and sometimes not until after 10-15 minutes of driving.
Read advice about the resistor or bad connections but I think its the motor itself cause it is VERY buzzing noisy when it 1st starts running, noisy when it is running. I have all my fan speeds so I don't think its the resistor. Gonna tackle the problem tomorrow morning and wondering if there is any advice out there. Thanks.

The Buzzing noise could very well be a Un-balanced Squirrel cage(Blower Fan Blade) due to debris sucked in thru the fresh air intake. The resistor usualy will only cause the low and med. to fail but not the High setting. the high setting runs straight thru the resistor on a 12v. it does not go thru the resistor circuits. If the blower is inop. in all the settings, chances are you are correct with the motor or a bad connection on the HVAC switch or a bad connection on the ignition circuit.

Remove the blower motor and check it for debris. clean as nescessary.( Cherokee 2008?) or Grand cherokee?:???:
