Hi,
I've been a lover of Jeeps, since I first saw MB's and M38's in MASH and Daisy Duke in her 1980 CJ-7 Golden Eagle.
I love the MB's, M38's and CJ's, but my favorite is the CJ-5.
I am an avid RV'er and used to own a 1971 31' Airstream, which I had refurbished several years ago. I sold it recently and decided to finally buy a CJ-5 on Ebay this past weekend.
Like when I first started with Airstreams, I am a bit knowledgeable about Jeeps, but I still have a lot to learn. The one I bought is Frankenstein'd....see sig below.
I'm going to buy a new frame from Throttle Down Kustoms, unless someone can recommend a better place...I don't like the fact that the frame isn't completely boxed in.
I'm going to post some questions in the CJ section, so please be patient and kind with your responses.
