Help finding 2018 Jeep Compass Spare tire or factory kit

I cannot find a spare tire or the factory kit for a 2018 Jeep Compass Limited.

The vehicles are sold without a spare tire or jack from the factory, and none available to purchase.
(WTF ??)

I’m helping a family member and tips/leads are appreciated.

I’ve called dealers across the nation and only found 1 but they won’t ship,
Want to save for their own customer.

My local Jeep dealer Parts Dept can’t/won’t tell me where to get a rim that will fit so I can buy my own tire 235/45 R19 95H

I’ve also searched for the factory spare tire kit online and all out of stock with no ETA.

The Mopar part number for the spare tire kit is: 82214638AC or 82214638D

I’ve also learned this model vehicle only has 1” of clearance from top of tire to the front springs.

Could you just get a generic spare from an aftermarket tire / rim shop, and fab up some spacers?

If that jeep doesn't come with a spare tire I assume it also doesn't provide a place to store it ?? How do you intend to handle that? If previous models have the same size and style rim going to a junkyard and getting another rim/tire might be an option.
