My son has a 1998 grand cherokee ,4wd 6 cyl and it needs rear wheel bearings. how to I tell what type of axle it has? thanks for any info

Thanks..I had one more issue we needed to change the rod ends on the drag link. The threads on the one I have on the jeep are both large ( appx 1" dia ) but all the part stores carry one rod end appx 1" and one appx 5/8 dia .make sense to anybody?

No idea... on it when bought jeep...no special markings or name brands

Most parts stores either have parts mislabeled or they don't know how to manually look up parts in the books anymore. Have your tried RockAuto Parts Catalog
