I have a nice '89 Grand Wagoneer with a 360. How hot is too hot? On a recent trip I pushed it pretty hard up a long hill on the interstate and it was running at 215 'ish'. Is that too hot, or OK?
Water boils at 212 so I would say too hot.I run a 194 stat and I am not sure how accurate my temp gauge is but hits about 200 and then it starts to cool down.
