how long till everything goes hay-wire?

ok i know i need to replace my piston rings, and im not sure if i have the time right now to do it, and i definately dont have the money to pay someone, if i wait to fix them, what else can happen since they need to be fixed?

you'll burn off much oil so the engine may seize. (unless you're smart and keep a CLOSE eye on the level)

also, a lack of compression may also occur if they get bad enough and you simply won't make enough power to move the jeep...

summary: rings are pretty vital

yea i would get them fixed, if you dont make enough compression you might noe even be able to start the engine..
