How much should I ask for a 86 CJ7 that wont pass Calif smog

I have my Florida-registered CJ7 here in the bay area...how much do you think I should ask for it considering it wont pass calif smog. Its in decent shape otherwise

Your selling it because it wont pass the smog test? , isn't that against the Jeep Laws?

I saw on the web that in CA they are converting "emission failed" Jeeps to diesels to keep them on the road. Look around the web - I think the site was called Jeeps2diesel. With the right setup you'll get better mileage too Best of luck - John

I have an 82 jeep that I got from Washington. It has an aftermarket carb and will not pass a visual smog inspection. I just got a Howell injection kit for it for $1300. Some buddies of mine who work on Jeeps all the time are going to help me install it. If you love your jeep that much put an injection kit in it and you will not have any problems with smogging it.

How many miles on the engine?
The ultimate sales price would be relative to the answer to this question
Has the engine been raped of all the "pretty" smog related equipment?
In California we have unlimited costs to provide all necessary factory installed smog related equipment when missing,possibly Hundreds of dollars.
Once installed, the cost for passing a smog test is "LIMITED" and the vehicle can then go to a referee who will try to pass the vehicle and or waive the smog.
Dont ya just love it here????
