Alhamdolillah, team IJC is back safely after another successful participation in Cholistan jeep Rally.
MashaAllah, the Desert Devil did it again, Asad came 2nd in his category. Many many congrats Asad! Waiting for the treat!
Mohammad (desert devil Junior) became the youngest navigator (18 years) in Pak rally scene while navigating for me this year. MashaAllah he was brilliant. It was very close for us, in the end after 470km race we were 4th.
Many Thnx to all the team IJC, w...ho came along for support, company, gupshup, leg pulling n all! How will we eever forget the "Cute" and "the nut cracker!" Staying together at Dera together was great fun.
Burhan, unfortunately had an accident during rally, but alhamdolillah he is alright. We wish him all the best always!
Hasan Asad also participated in this rally, His first ever, He was participating in C prep category and MashaAllah finished in good time, he had an unfortunate off track excursions leading to damaged steering rod on vehicle which he did temporary repair of and set off again and finished safely!
Personal Thnx to Hasan for arranging Hi-octane for NPP for the rally!
Special Thnx to all the mid point rally support team on all 3 race days who all did excellent job!
However would mention separately a word of special appreciation for Orange, who as a special favour went all the way on my race 2nd day to get my fuel to mid point, which oddly enough was almost 170km from camp.
For me personally it was a 2800km marathon! NPP behaved brilliantly, bar few minor niggles! Managed to hit 190+ on speedo during race stage 4 (though the GPS showed 182kmph as max speed!!!!)
Finally we are all extremely grateful to Almighty for all the blessings, and bringing all this lovely and caring people together to form such a wonderfull group we call IJC!
