A festival to celibrate the birth of the Jeep here in Butler, PA will be held August 12-14, 2011. It will be at the Butler Fairgrounds on Route 422 just
west of Butler. Will have only Jeeps in the activities. There will be Trail Rides (Stock and Intermediate), Mud Pits, Rock Piles, Balancing Blocks and
RTI ramp. Lots of Vendors, parts-a-rama and numerous activities for the family. Saturday night there will be a concert. All the planning is not complete so will update here as info becomes available. If you have questions, please call the Butler Convention and Tourisum Bureau at 724-234-4619, Fax 724-234-4643. Remember, Bantam invented the first Jeep.
The Bureau should have a website soon......

folks that may vendors, etc may want to make contact soon.

The three-day event will take place August 12-14, 2011, and pre-registration is now available on our web site, bantamjeepfestival.com[/FONT]

[FONT=Georgia, serif]We're hoping you will share the information about the Festival with your Club, and that your Jeep-owning members might even consider coming to the Festival as part of a Club trip. We are also offering free booth space to all Clubs who would like to promote their organization. On-site camping will be available and Clubs/Club members may reserve sites together.[/FONT]

  • [FONT=Georgia, serif]- Help us create a new Guinness Book record by participating in the longest Jeep parade and cruise in Downtown Butler. The first 500 paid registrants receive a free dash plaque.[/FONT]

[FONT=Georgia, serif]Festival will take place at the Butler County Fairgrounds, just west of Butler:[/FONT]

  • [FONT=Georgia, serif]- Off-site trail rides [/FONT]
  • [FONT=Georgia, serif]- Brand new history exhibits and displays showcasing the Bantam Jeep [/FONT]
  • [FONT=Georgia, serif]- WWII jeep history timeline and military encampment featuring more than 20 original jeeps from the 1940s [/FONT]
  • [FONT=Georgia, serif]- Jeep Show 'N Shine [/FONT]
  • [FONT=Georgia, serif]- Jeep Marketplace showcasing parts, accessories and more [/FONT]

I will try my best to make it but things look grim. You guys should have a dirtiest jeep contest as well!
