Jeep's been sitting, what should I do to get her running smooth again?

I lost my license for a year and a half so my poor TJ's been sitting. Now that I can drive again I'm not sure what needs changing. I'm not too car savvy but I know there are things you're supposed to do (new battery, spark plugs, etc.). Any advice would be great!

Oil change new battery. .. Pull the plugs and check them, what year? Cap and rotor?

If you didnt start it in a year. When you change the plugs squirt some oil down the cylinders and crank the engine by hand(breaker bar). This way any oxidation does not damage the rings.

Might siphon the gas and get new.

DEFINITELY remove the old gas! The fuel pump/injectors you save will be your own!
