Installed a set of KC Cyclone 2-light Under Hood lights. Ran the wires through the hood reinforcement beams. KC lights come with everything you need: protective wire wrap, wire harness and switch. Made one change to the instructions by using rivet nutserts to bolt the lights onto the hood. Anyone attempting this step take extra precautions not to drill through the hood otherwise FUBAR 4 sure.

Nice. They use a gravity switch like stock hood light?

KC supplies a regular switch with a water proof cap. Gravity switch is nice but I think you get better control with the on/off switch mounted near the battery especially when the light isn’t needed or when the hood is fully opened onto the windshield.

As mentioned drill carefully and use short bolts/screws. On Amazon the price can fluctuate between $62-81 for the light kit.
