I'm new here so first thing I have to say is cool!! lots of great info. I finally bought my first jeep a few months back. its a 98 tj. It came with 33 inch tires and i know its lifted, but how can i know exactly how much it is lifted. Is there a way I can tell what type of lift kit was installed? These may be dumb questions but this is my first jeep and I really have no experience with them. I can say that the jeep is great in the mud!! thanks :-D [addsig]

Welcome! First determine what kind of lift it is...ie. body, spacer, suspension, other. Second, drive it through some mud. Third, wash it off and then do it again. Repeat until satisfied. Then see if you can read any company labels, ie. Skyjacker, Rancho, Superlift, etc. From there you can usually determine what it is by what each manufacturer offers. Then drive it through the mud again...and don't wash it off. :p [addsig]
