Mastercraft Seats?

Does anyone have them. Is the price I see for one or a pair. Finally are they worth it?

If you have the money I would bet yes they are worth it. Look great and can get front and rear to match. tug

The price you see is per seat, so it will cost you around 600 for a front pair. If you do go with them, just get the matching rear seat cover if you want to save money. They are very comfortable, but they do not have reclining capabilities, and you can forget about letting passengers in the back if you have a top.

You can just simply move the spring on the bottom of the seat on the passenger side and it will still rise forward just not all the way but you will have plenty of room for someone to climb in. I have a buddy out west that has some and he loves them. He said he can get people in and out all day long.

I was thinking about getting some of those racing seats with the harness holes in them for a 4 or 5 point harness but im not sure how durable they would be. They would have to be at least water repelent which im not sure if they are, but i do know they are rull comfy and they do recline up and down and everywhere. Get yellow and black to match the jeep . . mmhmmm.

E-bay has a pile of racing seats. I am looking on down the road at getting some myself. The problem is that they are quite pricey. E-bay has some deals, but you really don't know what you are getting. The best thing to do is get together at a big Jeep ride and try some out or go to a shop and sit in some.
I sat in a Jeep that had some Recarro's recently and they were very nice. They also provide plenty of side support to hold you in there. That is what I'm really looking for, but I want something that will be suitable for a long day's ride as well. I guess you get what you pay for.
My current set was acquired at a junk yard. They are tan leather buckets with manual adjustments. They came from a Land Rover Discovery and I bought them for $50. They have lasted several years, but now the threads are pulling loose and have several good holes in them.
Definitely go vinyl. The cloth is comfy, but you will eventually get caught in the rain and have to ride home with a wet butt.

I was lookin into them, but yeah like red said. I wanted to find somebody who had them to sit in them and see how i liked 'em first. I mean, who knows ya might hate 'em after ya put 'em in. then yer assed out 600 bucks for the set of 'em
