installed 3in bds lift a couple months ago and when doing some maintenance i noticed motor was not sitting level and really dipped down by the fire wall is this common when lift kit is installed i would assume it is just curious if i need to worry about this or what other people have done to correct this thanks for the help

Did you put in a Transfer-case drop kit?? If so, that's the culprit. No worries, that's supposed to happen, and alot of people with lifts run them that way. The purpose is to decrease the driveline angle.

Install a SYE and rear CV driveshaft, then you can remove the transfer case drop and raise the engine back to where it's supposed to be. You will gain ground clearance and strengthen the drivetrain. Also requires adjustable upper control arms in the rear.

Also, don't forget that modern engines (60's and up, maybe even 50's and up) are often installed with a "power angle". The rear is normally lower than the front. On a two wheel drive car this helps the rear drive line angles. On a four wheel drive vehicle with an attached transfew case (like the Jeep) it messes up the front drive line angle big time, requiring the CV joint "bandaid" that we have on newer Jeeps and trucks. So, the rear of your engine was already lower than the front - compare to a stocker to see how much. Best of luck - John
