new coil? or is it a waste of money?

I just bought a 94 wrangler sahara, and to start things off gave it a full tune up (rotor, cap, wires, plugs). I was wondering if I should get a new ignition coil. It has a little bit of a rough idle and I heard that a better coil could help this. I was thinking about the accel super coil but before I spend $50 on it would like to know if it is necessary at all. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Whats up, welcome to the site. If you need a coil, I have a factory one that if you want it, $10 and pay for shipping. It is out of a 94 YJ, but they are exactly the same.

I think the coil I have is fine, but I was looking into getting a better coil because supposedly they improve starting and idling. What I was really wondering is if it is marketing bull or not.

On my first time around, I simple swaped in the accele coil, smoothed my idle out big time. I eventually took that out and added the entire accele 300+ ignition system for better low end spark!
