New Daily Driver

I’m in the process of researching a new daily driver to get my YJ off the road so I can do I want to it (Turn it in to a toy mostly) but I’m not a big fan of cars but I would like to get some gas mileage. So I was wondering if anyone has heard any thing about the new diesel engine there putting in the Liberty? I have heard that the 3.7L isn’t any better then my YJ 4.0L on gas. Anyone have any info of the Liberty right now or the 2005?

I hadn't heard that, but that would make a liberty appealing to me for the first time. If gas prices continue to stay obnoxiously high, diesels will again make a comeback!
