New Jeep

I have been around here the past year or so. I finally bought my first Jeep. It's a 1988 Wrangler with the 258. It has a Weber 38 carb. It was in the paper for 1800. Its a good running Jeep I think.

I guess I should have filled in my profile first. Oh well. Anyway, its a 5-speed AX-15. It currently has 115,000 miles. The only thing I had to do was hook up the reverse lights for it to pass inspection. And I have a posi-lok on order for the 4x4. Im looking forward to alot of fun 4x4ing and spending time here. You guys make a person feel very welcome.

That is a real nice rig ya got there! and what you paid is awesome. I would recomend tha you look at the vacume hoses on and around the engine, and do a simple tune up just to make sure she runs at her full potential! a little prevention now will save you a hassle down the road!
