New Tires/Rims - What size?

I put a 3" lift on my 92 XJ, and I am interested in putting some bigger tires on it.

I have decided that I could put some tires that Measure 31 /10.50 w/ 15" Rims.

However, I'm finding out that finding rims to fit these tires is kinda confusing.

What backspacing would be necessary to get some rims to fit these tires? I heard that 8 would be correct, is that right?

Also, does anybody have any other suggestions for tire sizes?

8" rims will work fine and around 4" of backspacing will keep you from rubbing.
