I just moved down to Cullowhee, NC about an hour from the Tennessee border. Now that I'm close enough to go on one of those trips with yall I can't wait. I'm down here until july 31st I think but I come back for fall semester August 21st. I'm itchin to go wheelin, and there's a bunch of really nice jeeps up here at school so I might be able to get em to come along.

Well I am working all the time and I am still jeepless but I can give you an idea of where to go and what to look out for. I do have Mondays and Tuesdays off so come on over and I can show you around on them days. tug

I work in Sylva, just down the road. If you want to play a little and get a taste of the mountains, go south on 107 to Caney Fork Rd (Where the Judaculla rock is). Take Caney Fork to Moses Creek. Go up Moses Creek a ways and you'll see a trail cuttin' left at the big switchback. Go there and have fun!
Been there once or twice at lunch, but haven't really explored it yet. It's highly recommended.

I have a house down Caney Fork a ways down with a large chunk of land behind it but you can't drive out on it. Do you know where that trail that goes up a hill on the right side of the road across from a trailer is? The land that it leads to belongs to my family and I went up that trail yesterday only to be chased down by a guy in an F-250 and told to get off his land. I told him the deal and left but the trail seemed pretty fun or at least 50 yrds of it i went on. Also theres a place right accross from WCU up towards the airport and animal shelter with 3 trails on the road. I'm getting some guys with jeeps together to go up there tomorrow or something maybe. I don't know what the trails are like so I'm gonna go check it out later today.

Jeepster05, you need to check out Moses Creek, right where I told you about. Went up there for a l'il bit at lunch today...........SWEET Trail!!!!

That trail was awesome man!!! I went up it about a mile and a half or 2 miles and that was one of the best trails I've seen up here. How far did you get up it? I just stayed on the main trail the whole time to get the feel for the area and not get lost but next time im goin up those other ones. The 2 creek beds that I got to just made it that much more awesome. Thanks for pointin that one out for me.
