oil in carb.?

hello everyone,

it's been a while sinds i have been here...everybody ok?
here in holland thing are as good as they can get...except for one thing...

my 258 6 cylinder trows oil in the carb...
there's a small hose that goes from the breatherhole on the valvehead strait to the k&N sportsfilter.
for some reason the engine pumps oil trough this hose directly in my carb.
does anyone know why this could be?
it's not much but more then enough to make the engine run bad..
there is a slight underpressure in the hose when the engine is running,is this normal.(i think there should be a slight overpressure..right??)

i hope you can give me some suggestions...
if you cannot understand something please let me know..my english is not perfect and aspecialy technical terms are difficult to me..

That's the hose where the PCV valve goes isn't it? The PCV may be clogged. That's what vents your engine.
BTW...How is it in Holland? I spent some time there a few years ago at Vriezenveen, Almelo and several other NATO sites and loved it. I wish I had my Jeep there.

yep that's right...
i found out about the valve yesterday right after i posted my question.
funny thing is....there's no valve at all...!! :?
so that shoul help but i wonder about the oil inside the carb. can this also be caused by the missing valve?

about holland...there's a big lack/missing of off-road country-side...
to go heavy-duty like the rubicon trail must be (never been there,still dreaming of it )we have to go to belgium,france,germany or even better....poland...
het canon is pretty tasty ain't it??!!!heavy!!!!!!!

I'm from Alabama. It's in the southern United States. I am a defense contractor and get do a fair amount of traveling sending mechanics to work on military vehicles. I hope to get back to Holland soon.

i've heard about it...alabama..not much i can say about it,the only state of america where i have been is florida...but i guess that's nothing like alabama... :?

today i brouht my cj to the garage for repairs and the mechanic told me that he feared my engine is on it's end...
i hope not and i don't think he's right because the engine was running fine a few weeks ago...but he was gonna take a good look at it and told me he would call me this week with more info...
